Turn your creative ideas into a clear, doable strategy — a course that’s fun, focused, and designed to get results.

Take your creative career to the next level! Plan, Play, Create is a smart, simple, and seriously doable course that shows artists and performers how to turn ideas and goals into a clear, actionable strategic plan. You’ll learn how to define business standards based on your values, conduct a painless SWOT analysis, understand the difference between strategy, goals, and tactics, and review your plan over time to stay on track.
This course builds on the foundation of The Business of Show Business, where you created your big-picture business plan. While taking the first course is recommended, you can jump right in and start crafting your personalized strategy at your own pace.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Understand the why behind strategic planning and how it sets the stage for success.
- Recognize the real benefits of having—and actually using—a plan (because winging it is best left to improv!).
- Identify the essential building blocks that make a strategic plan work.
- Create a customized strategic plan that fits your goals and vision.
- Refine your plan with feedback and polish it until it’s performance-ready.
Course Format
- Easy-access online learning — move at your own pace

Whether you’re an actor, singer, writer, or visual artist, Plan, Play, Create gives you the tools to map your career, make confident decisions, and grow your business — all without the boring business jargon.
